The popular Crossy Road mobile gaming app has many hidden characters you cannot buy from the app or win from the prize machine. There are currently seven secret characters ready to be unlocked.
1. Get Crab. To get this crustacean character you need to have at least one of the new Australian animals. (You'll know you're using one when the ground is covered with sand rather than grass).
2. Play as any one of the Australian characters and when you are standing on sand, scoot from side to side as fast as you can, like a crab. Keep doing this every time you stand on sand, it is tricky at first but it will get easier.
3. Note that this won’t always get you the crab, but you will get it eventually if you keep trying.
If this method still doesn't unlock the crab, try to pass your high score while doing this, scoot side to side faster and more often, or pick a different Australian character.
